Passkeys
Sign in with a passkey
Passkeys are available on every plan. Open Settings → Sign-in and multi-factor authentication, add a passkey and complete your device or security key’s user verification. You can register up to 10 passkeys per account, rename them and delete them. Additions and deletions send a notification to your account email.
Use the passkey option on the sign-in page to sign in without an email link. Passkey user verification satisfies multi-factor authentication without an authenticator code.
Device support and loss
Use a browser, device and authenticator supporting WebAuthn passkeys with user verification. Device availability and synchronization depend on where you saved your passkey. Unsupported browsers cannot add passkeys or sign in with them, but can still list and delete registered passkeys in Settings.
If a device is lost, sign in with another registered passkey or an email link and delete the lost passkey. When authenticator MFA is enabled, email sign-in still requires an authenticator or recovery code. Email sign-in remains available after deleting the last passkey, but organization MFA requirements still apply.
SSO domains
Passkeys cannot be used with addresses on a verified domain with active SSO. Sign in through SSO instead.
